Fabricator 

Location: Marden, Kent

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7 am to 5 pm

Salary: £18.50ph PAYE - the client will go up to around £24ph if self-employed.

Our client is a thriving steel fabrication and engineering company based in Marden, UK, which is currently seeking an experienced Fabricator Welder to join their dynamic team.

As a Fabricator Welder, you will play a crucial role in our clients' operations, working on a variety of projects and contributing to the growth of our client's organisation.

Key Responsibilities for the role of Fabricator 

• Conduct fabricator welding tasks for mild steel and stainless projects.
• Work on vessels, pipework, platforms, and walkways.
• Ensure the quality of welds, aiming for a nice finish, though perfection is not mandatory.
• Utilise both MIG and TIG welding techniques.
• Read and interpret drawings to execute fabrication tasks accurately.
• Collaborate with the team to meet project deadlines.

Person Specifications required for the role of Fabricator 

• Minimum 5 years of experience in fabrication work.
• Proficiency in light and heavy sheet metalwork, and structural, and architectural fabrication.
• Competence in using workshop skills and equipment.
• Ability to work from drawings.
• Coding skills are advantageous but not essential.
• Previous experience with agencies is preferred.
