Location – Sittingbourne, Kent

Salary – £45,000 per annum

We have an exciting opportunity for a Workshop Supervisor in Sittingbourne to work for one of our clients. Our client is a leading manufacturer of spacecraft, defence and storage containers. In this role, you will be overseeing a team of highly skilled team, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day operations. This is a full-time role.

Responsibilities for the Role of Workshop Supervisor

• Managing ongoing projects, ensuring they remain on target
• Responsible for the day-to-day management of a team
• Manage holidays, absences, discipline and yearly reviews
• Operate Lathe, Mill and Break Press machines
• Other duties as deemed reasonable

Skills and Experience for the Role of Workshop Supervisor

• Engineering experience and/or a qualification
• Strong leadership experience, ideally working in a similar supervisory role
• A hands-on approach to work
• Ideally Lathe, Mill and Brake Press machine experience
• Ability to work on projects from design through to finished product
• The ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Well organised with an eye for detail
• Strong interpersonal skills
