Location – Thanet, Kent

Salary - £25,000 to £30,000 per annum depending on experience.

We have a great opportunity in Thanet for a Metal Shop Operative to work for one of our well-established clients. In this role you will be working full-time, Monday – Saturday – 7am- 5pm and Saturday 7am-12.

Responsibilities

• Weigh and record metal collections on their computerised system
• Knowledge of various grades of metal
• Be able to use hydraulic croppers and petrol saws
• Be able to operate a forklift truck
• Other duties as deemed reasonable

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience within a similar industry would be advantageous
• Valid forklift licence
• Experience of using a variety of hand tools
• Good communication skills
• For this role you must drive due to the company location
