Location – Thanet, Kent

Salary - £13.00 per hour

We have a great opportunity in Thanet for a Yard Operative to work for one of our clients. In this role you will be working full-time, Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm, as well as 8am to 12pm on Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of vehicles for disposal, including draining of fuel, oils and fluids
• Dismantling of parts from vehicles such as engines, gearboxes, doors, bonnets, lights, interiors and more
• General cleaning and maintenance of the yard
• Helping customers find parts and preparing orders for delivery
• Be able to operate a forklift safely
• Someone who has their own tools - Impact gun, torques, socket set and general tools needed to complete day to day tasks
• Other duties as deemed reasonable

Skills and Experience

• Come from a Mechanical background
• Good communication skills
• Able to work in a fast pace environment
• Valid forklift license
