Family Lawyer (Birmingham, UK)

Location – Birmingham, UK

Salary- Circa £37,000 per annum DOE

Hours - Permanent role

 

Do you have at least 3 years of experience working as a family lawyer?

Are you able to network to create new business as well as independently work on your caseload?

 

Our client is a renowned multi-service law firm committed to access to justice. Throughout their network of offices, they have built a reputation nationally for delivering exceptional results for their clients and are looking for a Family Lawyer to join the team. They are a multi-office, multi-service Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners firm recognised for excellence in a variety of legal fields.

 

As the Family Lawyer, you will

 

  • Work on cases relating to Family Law and related issues
  • Proactively network and create new business
  • Work proactively independently on caseload
  • Prepare cases from initial inception to the conclusion of the case
  • Undertake own advocacy when required
  • Work of publicly funded cases
  • Any other such matters as required

 

Skills and Experience required for the role of Family Lawyer

 

  • Would suit a qualified solicitor with at least 3 years of experience
  • Must have experience in the following areas of Family law - Care proceedings, PLO matters, domestic abuse, divorce and financial matters, private child law, general family disputes, cohabitation disputes, occupation orders, and non-molestation
  • Have strong organisational skills
  • Have the ability to work under pressure
  • Fast and accurate typing skills and spelling
  • Clear and precise written and verbal communication skills.
