Salary – Extremely competitive, depending on experience

Hours – Full-time, Monday- Friday, 8.30am - 5pm

Our client, a local and established manufacturer is seeking a talented Search Optimisation Officer to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will play a significant role in shaping and implementing effective campaigns across platforms such as Google, Bing, Amazon, AMS, Argos and more. 


Key Responsibilities 


  • Develop and manage comprehensive PPC campaigns across diverse platforms such as Google, Amazon and Argos
  • Leverage market insights such as Google Analytics, Cobolt 2.0 and. Nectar 360
  • Craft compelling and eye-catching ad copy that will drive traffic and performance results
  • Develop campaign performance data to optimise strategies and maximize return on investment
  • Utilise data-driven insights to continuously audit and systematically enhance campaign results on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis
  • Oversee all aspects of paid search campaigns, encompassing keyword research, ad copywriting, bidding strategies, search term analysis, and optimising landing pages. This includes platforms like Google Ads, Bing, Creatio, Argos Nectar360, eBay and Amazon.
  • Collaborate with our in-house design team to create eye-catching display banners and advertisements.
  • Continuously optimise campaigns to meet agreed-upon revenue & ROAS.
  • Monitor daily spending on paid campaigns to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct thorough competitor research and analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and make informed decisions.
  • Generate regular reports using Excel to demonstrate the impact of your work. This includes weekly and monthly reports, as well as ad-hoc reporting as needed.
  • Report and converse with the departmental team on performance and strategies


Person specification 


  • Must have proven experience in developing and managing successful PPC campaigns across multiple platforms, including Google Ads, Amazon AMS, Argos Nectar360, Bing, and other relevant platforms
  • It is essential that candidates have strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage market insights (Google Analytics, Cobolt 2.0, Nectar360) and campaign data to optimise performance and maximise ROI
  • Excellent attention to detail with the ability to create and structure PPC campaigns from conceptualisation to launch and optimisation is a base requirement
  • Familiarity with PPC platforms, data analysis tools (Excel, Google Data Studio), and campaign management dashboards is a must for this role
  • The ability to craft compelling ad copy that resonates with target audiences and drives clicks is a pre-requisite
  • Strong communication skills are required in a clear and concise manner
