Accounts Administrator

Location - Staplehurst

Salary- £25,000 pro-rata per annum DOE

Hours – Full-time, but would consider part-time school hours for the right candidate

 

 

If you're seeking an incredible opportunity, we have just the role for you. Our client, headquartered in Staplehurst, Kent, is actively recruiting an Accounts Administrator to join their team permanently.

 

Although full-time, our client will also consider part-time school hours for the right candidate.

 

Responsibilities for the role of Accounts Administrator

 

  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for multi-currency accounts
  • Responsible for the creation of sales and purchase invoices
  • Undertake supplier statement reconciliations and make payments accordingly
  • Carry out credit control responsibilities
  • Processing staff expense claims and credit card statements
  • Actively undertake month-end and year-end processes
  • Ensuring systems are up-to-date and accurate
  • Assist with monthly reporting
  • Participate in the development of the finance function, team and systems

  

Skills and Experience for the role of Accounts Administrator

 

  • Must be educated to at least A’ level standard, ideally from relevant subjects i.e. maths, economics, statistics, business studies, finance, etc
  • A candidate with some relevant or transferable work experience would have an advantage
  • Will need strong accuracy and attention to detail
  • Must be analytical by nature
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ideally, will be flexible to adapt to the needs of the business
  • Essential candidate has excellent IT skills
