Facilities Management Assistant

Location - Maidstone, Kent

Hours  - Full time

Salary - £23,000 – £25,000 per annum pro-rata DOE

Temp contract 3 months



Historic venue in Kent is looking for a Facilities Management Assistant to join their team on a 3-month contract.



A day in the life of a Facilities Management Assistant


  • Audit of compliance folders and operation and management folders
  • Support the Hard Services Manager in the compilation of gap analysis
  • To review all Fire, water, gas, asbestos, electrical and related statutory compliance data currently held to ensure actions have been recorded, allocated to contractors and completed to provide support to the Helpdesk Coordinator.
  • Assist with the high volume of outstanding issues is contributing to the backlog in Helpdesk tasks
  • Provision of support in the transition of works from several contractors into one single-source supplier
  • Provision of support in pulling data together concerning considering e-logs/meridian solution
  • Support in completing Assessment transition to permit and logbook


Person specification for the role of Facilities Management Assistant


  • Will be from a facilities background
  • Must be competent in the use of MS Office and PowerPoint
  • The ability to manage workload and reporting schedules is essential
  • Will be naturally gifted at gap analysis and reporting preparation
  • Ideally will be able to funnel data sets to friendly end-user reporting systems
  • Will have a compliance background and an eye for detail
  • Must be a strong communicator
