Do you have a background in Catering OR Hospitality?

Our client, a medical facility based in Margate, is currently looking for Catering Assistant to join their team on an ongoing basis.

Responsibilities for the role of Catering Assistant

• Responsible for the efficient and timely preparation of quality meals and beverages
• To carry out general cleaning tasks to ensure hygiene and working standards fall in line with regulatory and company standards
• To effectively manage within budgetary constraints and supply stock level
• Using all pre-populated recipes and allergen content in production recipes as per the company guidance
• Support the daily checks for COSHH, Fire, and accident measures
• Observe allergen precautions
• Ensure Health and Safety is adhered to
• To ensure that adequate products, equipment, and materials are properly used and stored

Person Specification

• Preferably have had experience in the catering or Hospitality industry
• Be of a proactive mindset
• Must be IT literate
• Must possess people management skills
• The ability to work and communicate within a team is of utmost importance
