Location - Darlington 

Salary - £13.84 - £15.38 Per Hour

Hours - 8am - 4pm, 8.30am - 4.30pm or 9am - 5pm 

Additional Option:  Work more than 7.5 Hrs Monday - Thursday and finish at 2 pm on a Friday!!

Contract - 6 Months

We are seeking an experienced Accounts Payable to support our client, based in Darlington, who is a multinational corporation.

In this Accounts Payable role, you will...

• Accurately match purchase invoices and resolve matching issues with plant personnel.
• Investigate and resolve aged invoice queries, and handle internal and external stakeholder inquiries.
• Address supplier payment inquiries and complete supplier statement reconciliations accurately.
• Ensure compliance with SOx documentation, processes, and controls while meeting SLA targets.
• Assist with projects, process improvements, and ad hoc administrative tasks.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Accounts Payable.
• Previous experience in administrative roles.
• Strong computer skills, especially in Excel and email; experience with Oracle systems.
• Strong numerical abilities and understanding of business processes.
• Effective time management, problem-solving skills, and proactive approach to continuous improvement.
• Awareness of SOx compliance, familiarity with performance metrics, high integrity, adaptability, and ability to lead through vision and values.
