We’re recruiting for an experienced Production Planning Supervisor to join a forward-thinking manufacturing company that values innovation and teamwork. What You’ll Be Doing:
As the Production Planning Supervisor, you’ll be the vital link between departments to ensure seamless production. You’ll manage a dedicated team of planners while collaborating with key stakeholders to keep everything running like clockwork.
- Master the Schedule: Create and maintain the Master Production Schedule in SAP, ensuring the entire manufacturing team is aligned and ready to meet deadlines.
- Lead & Inspire: Manage a dynamic planning team, providing mentorship, identifying training needs, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Lead crucial meetings like Frozen Zone and Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), ensuring everyone is on the same page when it comes to schedules and forecasts.
- Optimize with SAP: Use SAP to streamline production documentation, track progress, and ensure that everything flows smoothly on the shop floor.
- Capacity Planning: Provide critical data for effective decision-making on overtime and subcontracting needs, ensuring production stays on track.
- Drive Improvement: Spearhead continuous improvement projects, enhancing efficiency and reducing build times, while promoting lean manufacturing principles.
- Stand-In Leadership: Be ready to step up as the Supply Chain Manager when needed, ensuring smooth operations across the board.
What We’re Looking For:
- Manufacturing Experience: You’ll have a solid background in production scheduling, planning, and logistics within a manufacturing environment.
- SAP Expert: Proficiency in SAP, particularly MM (Materials Management) & PP (Production Planning) modules, is essential.
- Leadership Skills: Proven experience leading and developing teams, with the ability to inspire and drive positive change.
- IT & Data Savvy: Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel, and an ability to analyze KPIs and performance data to make informed decisions.
- Problem Solver: A proactive and innovative approach, with a talent for identifying opportunities to improve processes and lead teams through change.
