Job Title: Learning Support Assistant
Location: Bromley
Salary: £14.67 per hour
Job Type: Full-time, 32.5 hours per week
Contract Role until July 2025

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading educational institution that is looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Learning Support Assistants to join their supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with the Learning Support Assistants Coordinator, Learning Inclusion Manager, and teaching staff to provide crucial support to learners with SEN. Your role will include:
- Assisting students in accessing and achieving their learning programmes
- Supporting learners in all college services and activities, fostering their personal development and study skills
- Contributing to the creation and monitoring of individual Educational Health & Care Plans (EHCPs)
- Promoting self-advocacy and independence in students
- Offering support with personal care, safety, and well-being where necessary
- Anticipating and overcoming barriers to learning through tailored intervention strategies
- Ensuring students can fully access and engage in all college resources and services, including assistive technologies
What You'll Bring:
- Experience working with individuals with SEN
- A caring and compassionate approach to supporting students with varying needs
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with students, staff, parents, and external agencies
- Ability to work flexibly within a team and independently when required
- A proactive attitude towards identifying barriers and developing solutions to support learners in their educational journey
