Assistant Curriculum Director - Maths 
Location: Bromley (cross campus)

Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week

Type: Permanent
Salary: £53,579 - £59,417 per annum (dependent on experience)

About the role


This is a pivotal leadership opportunity to support the Director of English and Maths in managing the curriculum area, enhancing the student journey, and driving forward the quality of teaching and learning. You'll shape curriculum development, lead teaching staff, and take ownership of departmental performance and learner outcomes across multiple sites.

 

Duties include:

 

  • Leading and improving teaching, learning, and assessment
  • Supporting curriculum innovation and progression pathways
  • Managing staff performance and CPD
  • Overseeing student outcomes, attendance, and achievement
  • Implementing quality assurance processes
  • Teaching up to 288 hours annually

 

What we’re looking for

You will have previous experience in a similar position, a teaching qualification, leadership experience in further education, and a strong background in GCSE English and Maths delivery. A creative, organised, and driven individual ready to inspire staff and support student success across the curriculum.
