Shift Supervisor
Rochester
Full-time | £40,000 per annum (DOE)
4 on 4 off – Day Shift | Healthcare Plan | Company Pension

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Supervise daily shift activities to meet production targets and quality standards
  • Motivate, train and develop team members, fostering a high-performance culture
  • Monitor KPIs, including safety, waste, efficiency, and absenteeism
  • Ensure full compliance with site-specific quality, hygiene, and health & safety protocols
  • Liaise with departments to verify material availability and eliminate inefficiencies
  • Complete all shift documentation in line with BRC, ISO and internal standards
  • Support continuous improvement and uphold best practices across the production line

 

What we’re looking for:

  

  • Proven experience working in a fast-paced production environment, ideally within the food manufacturing industry
  • Previous hands-on experience as a machine operator, with a solid understanding of floor-level operations
  • Strong background in employee relations, including team motivation, performance management, and conflict resolution
  • Demonstrable track record of working to and achieving KPIs across Safety, Quality, Productivity, and Waste
  • Working knowledge of compliance frameworks, including BRC, ISO, and site-specific quality management systems
  • Previous experience supervising high-care environments and managing packaging line operations
  • Ability to lead by example and foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence
