Apprenticeship Skills Tutor
Location: Worksop
Salary: Up to £37,199 per annum including Market Force Supplement (dependent on qualifications/experience)

Hours: 37 hours per week - Monday- Friday

You will play a key role in supporting the development of the next generation of electrical engineers. The role involves delivering high-quality training, assessments, and support to apprentices, ensuring they gain the knowledge and skills required for success in their careers.

 

The role


As an Apprenticeship Skills Tutor, you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing electrical apprenticeship courses. The role involves using e-portfolios to track and monitor learner progress and conducting on-site assessments. You will need to build positive relationships with learners and employers, manage your caseload, and ensure effective communication across all parties.

 

What you’ll need


You will need to be an engaging and confident tutor/assessor who can bring the subject to life for a diverse range of learners.

 

Essential qualifications include:

 

  • A relevant industry NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) or higher
  • An A1/V1/CAVA Assessor Award (or equivalent)
  • All new employees will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check and other associated checks in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education guidance
  • Excellent IT skills and experience with digital learning platforms
  • A teaching qualification (or willingness to obtain)
  • IQA Award is desirable
