Fleet Co-ordinator

Location: Rochester, Kent

Salary: DOE

Full-time: 37.5 hours per week

This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established organisation as a Fleet Coordinator, taking responsibility for the day-to-day administration and compliance of its vehicle fleet.

 

Working closely with operational teams, you will ensure vehicles are managed efficiently, cost-effectively and in line with all legal obligations.

 

Key responsibilities will include:

 

  • Overseeing the administration of all fleet documentation and vehicle records using software systems
  • Managing insurance renewals, road tax, MOTs, servicing schedules and lease agreements
  • Working collaboratively with the Fleet Maintenance Assistant to schedule checks and resolve vehicle issues
  • Maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date logs of all fleet‑related activity

 

To be successful in this role, candidates will demonstrate:

 

  • Proven experience in fleet administration or a similar operational support role
  • Excellent organisational and time‑management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to record‑keeping
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and fleet management software
  • A clear understanding of vehicle compliance requirements, including MOTs and road tax
  • The ability to prioritise workload effectively and meet deadlines

 

It would be advantageous to have:

 

  • Experience in using fleet management software platforms
  • Familiarity with leasing arrangements and vehicle contracts
  • A working knowledge of health and safety requirements related to vehicle operations
