Heating Engineer

We’re working confidentially on behalf of a respected heating solutions provider to recruit an experienced Aftercare & Servicing Engineer.

This role is ideal for a skilled professional with a strong background in heating systems, particularly in residential and commercial settings.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction through expert servicing and fault resolution.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Installing, servicing, and repairing heating systems, including boilers, radiators, and underfloor heating
• Performing routine maintenance checks
• Diagnosing faults and implementing effective solutions
• Advising clients on system upgrades or replacements
• Ensuring correct setup and configuration of heat meters and data systems (e.g., M-Bus, wireless networks)
• Maintaining accurate records of work and materials
• Complying with health and safety regulations
• Staying current with industry trends and regulations

We’re looking for someone with:

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Heating and Ventilation or equivalent
• Proven experience with heating system installation and maintenance
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Confidence in engaging with residents in person and by phone
• Familiarity with communal/district heating systems and HIUs
• Proficiency in using iPads for reporting and documentation
• Valid driving licence preferred
• Knowledge of building regulations and safety standards
• Excellent written communication skills for technical reporting
