• Morgan Jones is recruiting on behalf of a well-established commercial vehicle organisation that is looking to add an experienced HGV Vehicle Technician to its busy workshop team in Strood.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose faults and carry out vehicle testing
• Service, maintain and repair heavy commercial vehicles and components
• Identify and report defects or potential mechanical issues
• Complete job cards and maintenance records accurately
• Ensure all work is completed to high safety and quality standards

Requirements

• Previous experience working on HGVs or heavy commercial vehicles
• NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
• Full UK driving licence (HGV licence advantageous)
• Good computer literacy skills
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Positive team-player attitude
• Flexibility to work overtime when required
