HR & Operations Manager

Location: Remote (UK-based only)

Up to £85,000 per annum DOE

A leading organisation is seeking a skilled HR & Operations Manager to oversee contractor lifecycle management. This temporary contract (up to 6 months) offers full-time hours (Monday to Friday, 9 am to 5 pm) and a fully remote setup.

 

You’ll be responsible for recruitment, onboarding, compliance, payroll, and performance monitoring of contractors, ensuring alignment with company policies and legal standards. You must have experience working with international companies and knowledge of HR and payroll regulations across multiple countries. 

 

Responsibilities include:

 

  • Managing contractor recruitment and onboarding
  • Ensuring compliance with employment laws and tax regulations
  • Overseeing contractor databases and HRIS systems
  • Collaborating with payroll teams for accurate payments
  • Developing contractor-specific HR policies
  • Preparing reports on contractor metrics and performance

 

Candidate requirements:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field
  • Must have experience in contractor management 
  • 5+ years in HR management, with 2–3 years focused on contractors
  • Strong knowledge of contracting laws and payroll systems
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • UK-based and available to start promptly
