Manual Machinist (Grinder)

Location: Ramsgate

Salary: Competitive + 33% uplift for late shifts

Shift Patterns: Early, Day, Late (details below)

Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate manual machines
• Grind and repair aviation components to precise tolerances
• Follow engineering drawings and health & safety standards
• Ensure timely delivery of prioritised products
• Maintain accurate documentation and quality compliance

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 3 years’ engineering experience
• Skilled in cylindrical, surface, internal, and planetary grinding
• Level 2 or 3 Engineering Qualification
• Computer literacy (Microsoft Office desirable)

Shift Patterns

• Early: 06:00–14:15 Mon–Fri
• Day: 08:00–16:30 Mon–Fri
• Late: 14:15–00:30 Mon–Wed, 14:15–23:30 Thu
