Metal Finisher – Painter

Location: Erith, Kent

Salary: £27,000 per annum

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Hours: 6:30am to 4:20pm - Monday to Thursday.

We’re recruiting on behalf of a respected manufacturing firm in Erith, looking to expand their skilled finishing team.

What you’ll be doing:

Working closely with the Finishing Supervisor, Manufacturing, and Assembly teams, you’ll handle a range of finishing duties with a strong focus on painting. This includes degreasing, sandblasting, phosphating, electroplating, quality checks, and machinery operation. You’ll follow strict health, safety, and environmental guidelines while maintaining a tidy workspace and meeting production deadlines.

What we’re looking for:

You’ll bring:

• Proven experience in a production or metal finishing environment
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to high standards
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality systems
• Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental responsibilities
• The ability to follow process instructions accurately
• Physical ability to carry out manual handling tasks

Desirable:

• Counterbalance Forklift Licence
