We’re seeking a proactive Paint Prepper to join our client’s fast-paced paint shop based in Marden. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work and wants to be part of a reliable, supportive team.

Choice of shifts:

6.30 am – 3.30 pm or 7.30 am – 4.30 pm (Mon–Thur)

6.30 am – 11.30 am or 7.30 am – 12.30 pm (Fri)

What you’ll be doing:

You’ll be responsible for preparing metal components for wet painting, using a variety of tools and processes to ensure high-quality finishes and safety throughout the production line.

Key duties:

• Sanding, drilling, grinding, masking, and cleaning metal parts
• Preparing components for wet painting with precision and care
• Using shot blasting equipment (full training given)
• Hanging, packing, and transporting items safely
• Maintaining a tidy, organised, and hazard-free work area
• Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times

What you’ll bring:

• Excellent attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination
• Physically fit – comfortable lifting and standing for long periods
• Self-motivated, punctual, and a strong team player
• A responsible and safety-conscious mindset
• Experience in a similar role
