Plumbing Lecturer
Location: Canterbury
Salary: £40–£60 per hour DOE
Contract Type: Temporary, minimum for 3 months

Join a respected educational institution in Canterbury as a Plumbing Lecturer. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified professional to teach Level 2 and Phase 3 apprentices, helping shape the next generation of skilled tradespeople.
You’ll be delivering City & Guilds 8202 Level 2 and 9189 Phase 3 Apprenticeship qualifications.
The role requires experience in moderation and report writing for City & Guilds, and prior teaching experience with Phase 3 apprentices. Familiarity with Smart Assessor is desirable.
Responsibilities include:
- Delivering structured lessons across Level 2 and Phase 3 Plumbing qualifications
- Supporting learners through assessments and written reports
- Collaborating with colleagues to ensure high-quality delivery
- Maintaining accurate records and learner progress
Candidate requirements:
- Plumbing Level 3 qualification
- TAQA Level 3 or equivalent (A1 Assessors)
- Previous teaching experience with Phase 3 apprentices
- Knowledge of moderation and City & Guilds reporting
- Enhanced DBS within the last three years
- Smart Assessor experience (desirable)
Weekly contact hours: 19 hours
Schedule:
Monday: 12:30–13:30, break, 16:00–17:00
Tuesday: 09:00–16:30
Wednesday: 09:00–16:35
Thursday: 09:00–11:30, break, 13:40–17:00
