About the role and client:

This is an exciting opportunity to join a company with a solid reputation in the aerospace industry. You’ll play a key role in operating and maintaining specialist equipment within a dynamic and safety-focused environment.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate the Vacuum Pressure Impregnation (VPI) equipment
• Operate curing ovens using program controllers and chart recorder equipment
• Maintain accurate documentation, oven chart recorders, and work pack travellers
• Perform regular checks on plant equipment per maintenance check sheets
• Monitor calibration needs and dates for relevant equipment
• Identify and report defective equipment or tooling to supervisors
• Maintain the department and surrounding areas in line with the company's 5S programme

Candidate requirements:

• Ability to work well in multidisciplinary/cross-functional teams
• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
• Innovative and enthusiastic approach
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and multitask
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Self-motivated and well organised
