Production Finisher

Location: Sittingbourne
Pay: £13.33 - £15.01 per hour
Contract: Temp to Perm

We are currently recruiting for a Production Finisher to join a busy manufacturing environment in Sittingbourne. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys practical work, is comfortable working with machinery and takes pride in producing work to a high standard.

Full training will be provided, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.

Shifts Available:

• Night Shift: 10:00pm – 6:00am
• Rotating Shift: 6:00am – 2:00pm / 2:00pm – 10:00pm
  
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing products ready for the finishing process
• Carrying out finishing duties in line with quality standards
• Operating workshop equipment and machinery safely
• Loading, unloading and moving materials
• Carrying out manual handling duties
• Inspecting finished products and identifying any faults or defects
• Packing completed products ready for dispatch
• Keeping the work area clean, organised and safe
• Following company health and safety procedures

Requirements:

• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, assembly or another hands-on environment is beneficial but not essential
• Good attention to detail
• Comfortable with manual handling and physical work
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexible to work either night or rotating shifts
