Location: Sandwich 

Salary: Up to £29,500 per annum DOE (plus shift allowance of £1,200)

About the Role and Client:

Our client, a respected manufacturing company, is seeking a Hybrid Production Operator to work with heavy machinery and computer-controlled equipment, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production. This multi-skilled role involves machine setup, operation, maintenance, and quality checks.

Shift Pattern:

• 4 on / 4 off, rotating between days and nights
• Day shift: 06:00 – 18:00
• Night shift: 18:00 – 06:00

Responsibilities:

• Set up production equipment and supplies for job orders.
• Operate machinery safely and effectively.
• Inspect and maintain equipment with engineering support.
• Perform visual quality checks and record machine data.
• Carry out strip and clean on compounding lines.
• Operate forklifts and industrial vehicles for material transfer.
• Conduct quality testing on manufactured compounds and document results.
• Identify non-conforming material and communicate findings to relevant teams.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area.
• Recommend process improvements and report unsafe operations.
