Senior Employee Relations Advisors

Location: Croydon

Job Type: Temporary, Full-Time (3-Month Contract)

Pay: £14.33 – £16.96 per hour DOE

Our client is a large, dynamic organisation seeking two experienced Employee Relations professionals to provide critical advisory support across a wide range of complex casework. With a high caseload, multiple stakeholders and a fast-moving operational environment, this role offers a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to drive best-practice HR outcomes.

 

Key responsibilities:

 

  • Manage a varied and complex employee relations caseload, including disciplinary, grievance, capability and sickness absence cases
  • Provide expert advice to managers and senior leaders in line with NHS policies, employment law and best practice
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners and Trade Union representatives to deliver fair and consistent resolutions
  • Support investigations and lead hearings as required
  • Maintain detailed casework records and provide reports to inform organisational insights
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policy, guidance and process improvements
  • Provide coaching and upskilling to line managers on ER procedures
  • Act as a subject matter expert on workforce change initiatives, including restructures and TUPE

 

About you:

 

  • You must have NHS experience and a proven ability to operate within large, high-volume environments.
  • You’ll be confident handling heavy caseloads, working with pace and precision, and advising at senior levels.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills and in-depth knowledge of employment legislation are essential.

 

Additional requirements:

 

Must be available to work four days per week on-site in Croydon

Must have recent NHS experience with a clear understanding of NHS banding and ER procedures

Candidates must supply headcount details and caseload experience upon application
