Join a well-established engineering and manufacturing firm in Sandwich, Kent, offering immediate starts for skilled Stainless Steel TIG welder . This permanent, full-time role is based in a modern 50,000 sq. ft facility, delivering high-quality stainless-steel solutions across frames and sheet metal projects.

Benefits include:

• £15.00+ per hour (dependent on experience)
• Overtime at 1.5x standard rate
• Sunday overtime at 2x rate (if Saturday worked)
• 33 days holiday (including bank holidays)

About the role and client:

You’ll be joining a forward-thinking company known for its precision, innovation, and commitment to exceeding customer expectations. The role involves TIG welding of stainless-steel frames and sheet metal work, with polishing experience highly desirable. The company also values versatility, with opportunities to support press brake and saw operations, and occasional site installations.

Responsibilities include:

• TIG welding stainless steel components
• Sheet metal fabrication
• Polishing to a high standard
• Supporting wider production tasks as needed

Candidate requirements:

• Minimum 2 years’ TIG welding experience (stainless steel)
• Strong attention to detail and finishing
• Polishing experience preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Basic hours:

• Monday to Thursday: 07:00 – 16:00
• Friday: 07:00 – 13:00
