Overview

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Vinyl & Print Shop Supervisor to join a busy and fast-paced production environment. This is a hands-on supervisory role responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of the Vinyl & Print department, ensuring workload is effectively distributed, deadlines are met, and all products meet the highest quality standards before progressing through production.

This role would suit someone with previous experience in large format print, vinyl production, signage, graphics, or print manufacturing, who is confident leading a team and thrives in a deadline-driven environment.

The Role

As Vinyl & Print Shop Supervisor, you will take ownership of the smooth day-to-day operation of the department, coordinating workload across the team while maintaining excellent communication with the wider production function.

You’ll be responsible for ensuring production schedules are met, materials are available, quality standards are maintained, and the department remains organised, safe, and efficient at all times.

This is a key role requiring strong leadership, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and short lead times.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise the day-to-day running of the Vinyl & Print department
  • Manage and allocate workload across the team to ensure efficient production flow
  • Maintain excellent communication with the Production Manager regarding priorities and progress
  • Ensure all work is completed to tight deadlines and programme schedules
  • Conduct final quality checks on finished work before passing to the next department
  • Coordinate with other internal departments to ensure work progresses in the correct order
  • Monitor stock levels and materials, flagging shortages proactively
  • Liaise with external suppliers where required
  • Ensure all health & safety procedures are adhered to at all times
  • Monitor team wellbeing and provide day-to-day support and leadership
  • Keep the department clean, organised, and presentable
  • Ensure machinery maintenance schedules and operational checklists are completed
  • Maintain up-to-date product and process knowledge

About You

  • Previous experience within vinyl, print, signage, graphics, or a related production/manufacturing environment
  • Supervisory or team leadership experience
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Comfortable working under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Flexible and adaptable, able to respond to changing priorities and last-minute adjustments
  • Strong communication skills and approachable leadership style
  • Proactive and hands-on attitude

This is a fantastic opportunity to take on a key supervisory role within a dynamic and fast‑moving production environment.
