Food and Beverage Supervisor

Location – Canterbury, Kent

Salary - £21,630 to £23,144 Depending on Experience

We have an amazing opportunity in Canterbury for a Food and Beverage Supervisor to work for one of our clients. In this role you will be required to work full time hours working 5 days out of 7 including weekends, overtime is also available.


  • Oversight of the till/app operation, ensuring that all operations are completed successfully
  • Oversee daily ordering of stock from suppliers, inputting data accurately and as required on the stock management system
  • Responsible for all security requirements for the hospitality area
  • Adherence to all licensing requirements relating to good order, and times of service
  • Supervise the safe and correct provision of alcoholic drinks in line with licensing law and University policy
  • Supervision of team members and the preparation of daily working rotas in line with the requirements of the business
  • Lead in the induction and operational training of team members
  • Ensure maintenance of a clean working area, in accordance with the appropriate regulations governing hygiene, health and safety
  • Ensure all food and drink stocks are stored at the correct temperature
  • Other duties as deemed reasonable

Skills and Experience

  • Food Hygiene Certificate
  • Experience supervising bar and catering staff in a high-volume environment
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Willingness to work flexibly
  • Health and safety/risk assessment knowledge
  • Knowledge and experience of EPOS and stock management systems
  • BII Licensee qualification
  • Driver (full UK license)
