Head of Electrical Sales (Internal)

Salary up to £35,000 - £40,000 per annum plus commission

Location Rainham, Essex

Hours Monday to Friday 9 am to 5 pm, with some weekends

Benefits On-site parking, Private Health care, Pension, and a generous bonus scheme paid yearly.

We have an excellent opportunity for a driven and motivated salesperson with electrical product knowledge to join a fast-growing and highly successful company, based within their Rainham, Essex branch.   

 

You’ll be an expert at building rapport and creating trusted relationships, as well as possessing an extensive knowledge and network of customers within the electrical/mechanical industry.

 

Key Responsibilities of Electrical Internal Sales Manager:

 

  • Build and maintain relationships with clients via the telephone and email.
  • Demonstrate capability to manage and deliver to a wide range of customer demands, whilst driving sales and maximising branch profitability
  • Lead and drive KPI performance within the team
  • Coach the individual for success and stretch targets.
  • Maintain product stock, ensuring the branch has the correct product offering for the location and ordering client product requests.
  • Build a customer network, create an awareness of the offering and drive the business forward

 

Experience / Skills:

 

  • Hardworking and resilient
  • A proactive salesperson, with a strong desire and ability to win and grow new business.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must have the ability to coach and mentor the team and individuals for success
  • Proven record of accomplishment within the electrical or mechanical wholesale sales market
  • Self-motivated, with the ability to work on own initiative with minimum supervision or as part of a team.
  • Ability to interpret basic financial/statistical information.
