Job Description

Our client is looking for a Compliance Assistant  to join their successful team.  Our client provides compliance support for banks, fund managers and other filers of regulatory statutory electronic data. They educate firms on their reporting obligations, guide them through new electronic data requirements and above all, ensure all clients reach their submission compliance goals on time.

Our client assist firms from all over the world satisfy their financial regulatory reporting obligations.

Starting salary £20,000 pa (moving up to £24,000 pa upon successful completion of 6 month probation)

Role Responsibilities

  • Handling of inbound client enquiries via phone and email.
  • Responsible for regulatory filing planning including liaising with clients in setting deadlines for submission of data
  • Assist Compliance Associate where necessary 
  • Processing & submission of quarterly regulatory filings to national competent authorities such as the Financial Conduct Authority and Bank of England. 
  • Liaise with client to resolve filing issues or validation queries and resubmit filings if necessary. 
  • Assist Director with reviewing returns. 

Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience with office suite programmes and including Microsoft Excel.
  • Additional experience of programming languages such as VBA and python.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication. 
  • Excellent analysing and problem-solving abilities. 
  • Experience with client facing customer service desirable. 

Requirements

  • The role of Compliance Associate will be based out of our clients office in London W8. During our quarterly filing periods you may also require limited travel to client office sites within London.
  • You will need to be available to work full time (0830-1730/Mon-Fri) during our filing months: January, April, July & October.
